born downtown Charleston and raised mostly in North Charleston, and I’ve always had a heart for building things that mean something. I’m a serial entrepreneur, but the title I care about most is culture keeper. Deseyah Candle Co. is my personal favorite business because it lets me pour my heritage into something you can actually feel in your home. “Deseyah” (pronounced “These ya”) means “these here” in Gullah, and that’s exactly what this brand is, these here stories, these here scents, these here roots.

Every candle is made with clean, conscious standards, vegan, cruelty-free, phthalate-free, and skin safe, because luxury should never come with worry.

Beyond candles, I run a photography studio, logistics and moving ventures, and my family’s food brand, Vined the Vegan Experience, which still caters today. I also serve as chairman of the Keith Family Foundation, because giving back is part of the blueprint.
